No, we do not charge admission.

 Is parking free?
Yes, parking is FREE.

Do you accept credit cards?
No, we like to keep it simple and only accept CASH & CHECK.

Are you a pick-your-own pumpkin patch?
Yes, you are welcome to roam our 35 acre field to find the perfect pumpkin.

Is the pumpkin patch handicap accessible?
Yes, we have accessible restrooms and hay wagons.

Can I bring my dog?
Your pets are welcome as long as they have a leash.

 How long will pumpkins last?
Choose a pumpkin with a firm rind and no soft spots. Wash the pumpkins with a solution of 1 tablespoon of bleach to 1 gallon of water. This kills any bacteria or fungis spores that will cause the pumpkin to rot. Keep your pumpkin in a warm humid area for a few days to let the skin thicken. After you move them outside they will last for about a month. If you store them in a cool dry place they will last for up to 3 months.

 How can I roast pumpkin seeds?
Clean the seeds.  Place on cookie sheet, add seasoning, and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

How do I cook squash or pumpkin?
Cut it in half, remove seeds, turn upside down and microwave until tender.  For pies, puree and use as desired. 

 Do you offer any food or drinks?
Yes, we do offer the basics,  water, soft drinks, & candy.  Our little “pumpkin shack” does not have electricity, so it is not possible for us to provide hot food and drinks.
